Cheap airlines often have tight seating arrangements, which some passengers would find uncomfortable. With one seating class, people would have no choice but to make do with their seats. There may also be instances wherein you wouldn't get to sit side by side with your companion, again because of the limited seating capacity and when other people have already bought tickets earlier than you. Cheap airlines take off from a separate, smaller airport, which means you have to travel further or have to pay additional for the shuttle service.
